After years of trying to find a publisher for my poetry collection Who Do You Think Are?,  I am excited to be working with Turning Plow Press, an Oklahoma based press, in achieving my life long dream to be a published poet.

Who Do You Think You Are? is a collection focused on bringing voice to marginalized black stories. It is not simply a measure of my creative heart but also a measure of my creative ancestry!

Throughout the last several years, I’ve worked to cultivate poems that really spoke to the importance of black history which is often edited through a Eurocentric lens or overlooked completely. You would think in 2022, this would not be the case but as more and more sources continue to quash minority voices and experiences Who Do You Think You Are? is a collection our world needs now.
